SoHH board member, Marissa Dearborn, came to the land of Haiti early in 2015 and developed an English curriculum for children, youth, and adults. Marissa instructed two separate English classes in our home church community of Ganthier faithfully throughout the year. Her efforts brought about much community involvement and also served to instill the utmost of confidence in all the participants of this program. Marissa’s year-long assignment is winding down and she will be missed greatly by all the people in the village she has influenced in His Name. Thanks to Marissa’s obedience in answering God’s call, SoHH now has a solid template in place for continuing this ministry in the coming year and beyond.
