Pastor Bill Jasan

Founder, Executive Director

God’s Word, the Bible, speaks of the prophet Samuel raising his Ebenezer (literally “Stone of Help”) as a memorial to God’s enduring faithfulness. This account is also a promise of God’s faithfulness in present times as well as the days ahead when we follow His will, His way, and on His watch. God called me to the land of Haiti in 2010 following the country’s devastating earthquake. He would call me back repeatedly, leaving no doubt of His calling on my life to minister to the spiritual, physical, and practical needs of the Haitian people. By God’s enabling grace, I shall be faithful to the vision He has set before me. What a testimony to God’s lovingkindness that He continues to provide many “Ebenezer” occasions by revealing glimpses of His glory through Stone of Help Haiti. It is truly a blessed assurance to know that “Thus far the LORD has helped us” (1 Samuel 7:12).

Ken Strayer

Business Director

I spent 23 years on active duty with the U.S. Army, but that did not prepare me for my first visit to Haiti in 2014. The vulnerability of the communities overwhelmed me. I was also astounded by the great strength and hope that the people have found through faith in Jesus Christ. Upon my return from Haiti, I realized that God could use me to support the development of Haitian communities and to transform lives, but that there was also a key dynamic where I could see a great transformation in my own life. Just as much as my friends in Haiti, I need to become more of what God created me to be. I now use my skills and experience from military service and business to manage our ministry’s resources while promoting Stone of Help Haiti, connecting partners and resources to change lives, both here and in Haiti.

Geri Reyes

Director

I currently live in the Washington DC area and work as an Information Technology Consultant. In my spare time, I enjoy music of praise and worship as well as the outdoors. Born and raised in the Philippines, I am most familiar with harsh living conditions. My first trip to the land of Haiti came in 2011 where the loving hospitality of the Haitian people impacted me greatly. Also, the purity of their authentic worship is most definitely a joy to behold. What a blessing it is to be used by God in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through Stone of Help Haiti. Christian discipleship, as well as fundamental education is a high priority in my life, and Stone of Help Haiti’s efforts in these areas are certainly making a positive difference. My prayer is that God would raise up a generation of Believers that impact the people of Haiti for time and for eternity.

Sean Adding

Director

I’m a Washington D.C. metropolitan area native whom God in His grace saved in 1997 through turning from sin and trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord.  God has graciously blessed me with a wife and two children, our oldest is a special needs child.  I met Bill Jasan years ago when I served as an elder and worship leader at Calvary Chapel Alexandria.  I came to hear of Pastor Bill’s heart for the people of Haiti and the ministry of Stone of Help Haiti.  It was also the place where I got to meet and become friends Dr. Jean Abel Pierre.  Their love for Jesus and for the people of Haiti left quite an impression upon me.  I believe the vision God has given these men truly glorifies Jesus and He has confirmed His hand upon them by raising up faithful believers that serve alongside them.

Director

I live in Austin, TX and have been involved with Stone of Help Haiti (SOHH) since visiting Haiti with Pastor Bill and Marcella in 2014. The visit to Haiti and meeting so many in the country left an indelible mark on my life and perspective on the world. In my role with SOHH, I have supported some of the creative and marketing projects, work I also do in my day job for a marketing agency and in my work as a small business owner. I feel honored to be part of SOHH and support the call of the great commission on the lives of all believers.

Auggie Tantillo

Director

I have lived and worked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area for the past thirty-five years with my wife, Lisa. Together we have worshipped and served with various ministries dedicated to the sharing of the gospel of our Lord Jesus through expositional Bible teaching. I have followed the progress of Stone of Help Haiti (SOHH) since its inception and am blessed to have an opportunity to serve with those who desire to express the love Christ through this ministry.  As a recipient of our Lord’s grace and mercy, I view SOHH as a direct and tangible way to share the compassion shown to us as believers.
